My Kaleidoscope

We happened to pass by this restaurant and after looking at what they had to offer, we just walk in to give it a try. It's another meat day, a "Carnivore" day because with RM45++, we can enjoy the a-la cart buffet dinner. Yum yum... 

Next time I'll choose the marinated meat over this. This meat has so much fat in it and because it's not marinated, it taste blend. I hope they would give leaner meat than this. Look at the fat!

The staff cook this for us at first, and the middle we took over the whole cooking process. Sometimes I think why are we paying money and still need to cook by ourselves? Why don't we just cook at home? Actually it doesn't matter really, it's not about who does cooking the matters, so long as we can still sit comfortably, it's about the companionship, to being able to have a meal with someone can be a great thing.

Yummy meat... this really taste like Chinese cuisine Char Siew, very well marinated.

We shouldn't have ordered the pancake, it's too filling for 2 person to share this because it's huge and most importantly it didn't taste great. It's took up way too much space our tummy. 

I always love Korean spicy soup with egg, I enjoyed this except the cucumbers, way too much cucumbers......

 

Two packets of the tapioca chips are always places each table. I can't help but opened one of the pack to eat while waiting to be served.

There's only few pieces in a pack. It's a good snack still, I enjoyed it.

Here comes my curry laksa. The coconut based creamy curry and the robust flavour have satisfied my appetite.  I wish they would give more curry and more supporting ingredients with such premium price :D

Nasi Bojari is still as tasty and aromatic like the first time I tried many years back. 

Overall we enjoyed the food and the ambiance of the restaurant very much, but not going to visit again so soon because sometimes when thinking about having local food is like really common, and could get them anywhere, some even tastier. Nonetheless if spending for the ambiance and once a while just want to splurge on ourselves and family & friends, it's still worthwhile for a visit. Sometimes it's not about the place or food, it's about whom we have the meal with.

It's sold by one of the stall at the corner kopitiam at Metro Prima Kepong. Not to be deceived by the lousy looking stall, it sells very tasty noodle, located just behind OCBC bank of Jalan Kepong. I left the place happily after enjoying my meal and had better mood to continue my work. :D
